This means that the meat produced contains three times more omega-3 fatty acids and two times less omega-6 fatty acids than traditional meat, even when it is organic. This improved omega-3\/omega-6 balance provides excellent protection against cardiovascular disease.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>In addition, grass-fed beef contains higher levels of vitamins A and E (antioxidants). Cows enjoy a lifestyle that suits them: they are herbivores!
