If you’ve already visited our site, you’ll have understood our philosophy.
As far as laying hens are concerned, we follow the same approach as for the rest: small-scale breeding to ensure animal welfare and the quality of the products we supply. As you can imagine, we didn’t start out with an industrial model, dependent on suppliers from the other side of the world.
Our pullets live in a mobile outdoor henhouse. It’s a henhouse on a trailer that gives them permanent access to the fresh grass of our meadows. Because when the grass runs out, we move the henhouse. Quite simply.
The advantage of such a system, in addition to the well-being it offers our chickens, is the nutritional quality and taste of the eggs they lay. We call them “organic pastured eggs”.
