A multifunctional permaculture vegetable garden

In a former kitchen garden enclosed by walls and almost abandoned, we have created a living space where fruit and vegetables grow in harmony with birds, insects, earthworms and the people who come to enjoy, rest and learn.

No chemicals are used in our vegetable garden, and the soil is lightly tilled entirely by hand. The result is living fruit and vegetables!

We welcome many auxiliaries to help us in our work: bees, birds, insect predators of pests, hedgehogs, hawks and so on.
To fertilize the soil (essential for good crops!), we use what the farm produces: the manure generated by our animals (cows, horses, chickens) and we also make our own compost and plant purins (nettle, comfrey, etc.).

Fruit and vegetables are sold via vending machines located not far from the farm, just outside Ciney, as well as at the Cinacian cooperative COCORICOOP

The kitchen garden is not only a place where fruit and vegetables are produced, but also the setting for training courses for individuals wishing to learn about permaculture.

Last but not least, the vegetable garden is home to a cabin, an unusual accommodation for 2 people, where you can spend a stay far from the hustle and bustle of our hectic lives and in touch with nature.
